AnimLab is my attempt at making a premium-quality software suite that can contend with industry giants like Toon Boom Harmony, but either free or (for the later extended edition) very low-cost. The version you see here is a current demo that can be used entirely online, and if it does well enough I plan to distribute standalone desktop versions. Donations will be going toward hosting services to platform that.

AnimLab hosts all sorts of tools for drawing/painting/rendering your work, and supports pen pressure and touch. Tools can be heavily customized. It also supports layers, a peg system with various transform tools, a heavily customizable timeline, and numerous export settings. It also has onion skin and other supporting tools specific to animation processes.

This is a prototype still in the works, and relies very much on testing and feedback. Please keep in mind there may be buggy bits or unfinished elements, but it should be fully usable in creating quality animated work.

Known Issues:
Some of the panels are a big awkward and still being worked on and polished, and the current bucket fill struggles with soft edges and is being reworked (I am trying a few different things). Some of the tools have crappy icons until I can get proper, nice ones made. The focus at this point is performance and functionality rather than a pretty UI. File import/export is not yet available via this web demo, but that will be changed within the next few updates.
