AnimLab update
Big one this update: you can finally save and load your projects. Everything comes back the way you left it, drawings, timeline, layers and groups, pegs, and your placed audio/video/images including mixer settings (gain, pan, mute, fades). This was the top priority and it's in.
Also fixed a real drawing bug some of you may have hit: if you drew fast, curves could come out looking faceted, almost octagonal instead of round. Slow strokes always looked fine, fast ones didn't. That's fixed now, curves should stay smooth regardless of how fast you draw.
Other things in this update:
- Drag and drop audio, video, and images straight onto the timeline (partially working)
- Timeline zoom, layer drag and drop between groups, resizable timeline columns
- Mixer improvements: per track solo safe (keep a guide track audible even while soloing others), master volume now actually saves with your project instead of resetting
Known issues:
- Pen pressure isn't registering correctly for some Wacom tablets on Linux/Firefox, and Apple Pencil can feel laggy on iPad. I can't reproduce either locally, so if you're hitting one of these, press Ctrl+Shift+D in the app to pull up a diagnostic report of your system and input settings, and send that my way. That would genuinely help me track it down.
- If you're on the web build specifically: it needs a WebGPU capable browser (recent Chrome or Edge work best). Save/load and file import work, but behave a bit differently than the desktop app depending on your browser, and imported media isn't kept on disk between sessions in the browser version.
As always, thanks for testing this while it's still rough around the edges. More coming.
